AMEX didn't intendance virtually my emotional distress

I had an AMEX for 10 years, recently closed information technology because AMEX wants to play greed versus being a loyal representative for customers. I literally have bald patches and sent pictures of my fried hair and it falling out in clumps… AMEX REFUSED to help me and sided with the salon. I had a panic attack with a AMEX representative begging for help… same BS. Because I willingly went to this salon (even though I was being scammed by a stylist unbeknownst to me before walking into the salon), AMEX sided with the hair salon that left me with bald spots, at 32. Despite the emotional trauma I have from the salon, I also lost $1600 because AMEX didn't care well-nigh me.

It might ding my credit closing my AMEX, but they can front the $1600 for the emotional distress they caused. I will never return to AMEX, and am slowly doing away with cards and banks. They're all a fraud and only in it for themselves.

Disappointed

I started out loving Amex, their offers and customer service. Unfortunately, since January 2022 it has all gone downhill. They absolutely had a system mistake in January which meant they were unable to clear payments made. iv months after and they still accept not credited my account with the missing residual fifty-fifty subsequently providing the relevant documents 3 times and making ample phone calls. I was also told that I had to continually phone call them in order to receive updates.
The client service representatives are helpful just their processes are Atrocious!


Terrible

Terrible, tried to sign up in December, heard nothing - 3 weeks afterwards I contacted them and was told at that place was a technical problem their end, requite us a couple of days. Ok, and so still heard nothing so I call back - was then told we said give the states 5 days. Y'all didn't, just ok, terminal time I tried - couldn't become through verification, patently I don't know my ain appointment of birth and am consummate idiot. I've been using Amex for virtually 4 months now.

The app has been good to use and the cashback feature is splendid.

After 11 years equally a Platinum Charge Card holder, I am thoroughly disappointed with AMEX customer service. I used to rave about how great they were, but this year, afterwards a serial of disasters, existence told there is a clandestine limit on carte spending, having been wrong debited some £15k subsequently manually paying the rest so having the menu suspended and having a "credit review" because I suspended the DD.

4/25/22 Attempted to book flight using airmiles on blueish card. Received message: Ineligible to use points. An "Upgrade At present" push was available. (I was just informed you CAN utilize your airmiles on a blue card.) The upgrade I received was not an upgrade, just an entirely new gilded card, giving me 2 accounts. In the past 90 minutes I've spoken to 4 separate customer service reps & another 2 online. Finally, I was informed that I can employ my bluish card miles to book a flight, AND NOW I'M WAITING 35 MINUTES FOR A CALL BACK FROM DELTA TO Book. I have 140K miles or I wouldn't bother. LOOKING Forrard TO CANCELING MY ACCOUNT. Most client service is sourced from India at present, and although the people are kind, they are relying on scripts to deal with cultural issues, and from my experience this is not working for the United states of america customer.


Poor Customer Service

Tried to contact AMEX by chat through the app. Cypher just automatic delight wait replies. For such a big visitor, in 2022, this is a slaughterhouse. Very disappointed with them - this is how y'all lose customers.


American express will not bother if you lot accept a complaint

The agent told me that she can't do information technology and I need to phone call as she is chat service and not much she can practise... And she didn't help me at all and but logged out from the chat...
